France: easily one of the world's
most popular tourist destinations, has a diverse offering for
people of all ages and interests. Whether you're visiting for
the history, fashion, culture, food or simply to experience the
atmosphere of the country, you won't be disappointed. France can
confidently boast to have encapsulated all aspects of public
interest, including white sandy beaches, fairy-tale castles,
beautiful greenery, delicious cuisine, cosmopolitan cities, antique
landmarks and various sporting opportunities.
Probably the most obvious reason to travel to France, is to
visit the diamond that is Paris. Being one of the world's four
fashion capitals it's immersed in designer boutiques and classy
boulevards and is perfect for those who enjoy being in the know
about this season's new looks or maybe even want to attend Paris
Fashion Week. Champs-Elysees Avenue, the most prestigious and
broadest avenue in Paris, is most definitely worth a visit. The
avenue is lined with cinemas, restaurants, cafes, theaters,
upmarket shops and designer brands and is often referred to as 'La
plus belle avenue du monde' which translates to 'the most beautiful
avenue in the world'.
In contrast, Paris is also an avid sightseer's heaven. The home
of the world renowned Eiffel Tower and several other important
landmarks, including: Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral and the
Rose window, Moulin Rouge and various other treasures. You can take
a stroll through the many city parks, or if you prefer a more

Other than Paris there are many cities and towns, in

of expertise, for example: Lyon, the Loire Valley, Nice and Cannes.
Located in south-eastern France, Lyon is the second biggest
metropolitan area in the country, second only to Paris, the
capital. It's a city with a diverse history and culture and is
famous for the magnificent dining areas and food - Lyon is home to
some of the words most popular chefs and restaurants. Another point
of interest in the city is the Rhone Valley wines which are enjoyed
by all, around the world. St. Pauls Cathedral is located here,
among many other historical sites.
Nice is a city
that is not complete without its dozens of fantastic art galleries
and wonderous museums, showcasing the world finest structures and
works of art. Here lie some of the most outstanding spectacles that
no one would want to miss seeing. Located along the French Riviera,
Nice is the perfect place to spend an afternoon wandering through
the streets and admiring the views of the Mediterranean seafront
and traditional French architecture. Similarly to Nice, Cannes is
also an area with glamorous beaches and phenomenal sights,
particularly the boats at the Old Port. It consists of comfortable
yet stylish hotels, enchanting restaurants and many designer shops.
However, Cannes is most well-known for hosting the International
Film Festival that takes place every year, in May.
As an contrast to the beaches and cities, the Alps offer amazing
winter sports resorts, including the likes of: Les
Arcs, Chamonix and Val d'Isere. Up in the skies of the
mountain tops, with breath-taking views and below average
temperatures, the Alps hosts a variety of sporting events, the main
ones being skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing.
